The Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation are not usually given at the same time.
But it is getting more common that babies also receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in addition to the Sacrament of Baptism.
Extra graces are always welcome!
Isn't now, nor will it ever be a good idea....Confirmation allows one capable of rational thought to affirm the results of his/her Baptism....I was dedicated to Christ as an infant and now I affirm that dedication...
