There is enough doom talk. Live your life you are supposed to and there are no worries. While I generally agree, the 21st century is shaping up to be the age of apocalyptic prophecies influencing world politics. Muslims are absolutely going nuts about events they feel are foretelling the coming of the Mahdi. ISIS is an apocalyptic death cult, and it is influencing the whole world right now.

Christ rebuked Judaism (Talmud aka oral law/dogma, see Mt 15-16 & Mk 7-8; Col 2:8,14-15,20-23; Eph 2:2,15-16), thus anyone Christian turning to Judaism (salvation through works alone) has utterly succumbed to the great delusion of 2 Thess 2. Yeshua rebuked those things the Jews of the day had gotten wrong. Likewise, every branch has also gotten some things wrong today. Assuredly we will all be one soon though, after the marriage supper of the lamb.

Nobody knows the date or time. Not even Yeshua but YVWH.

This is exciting news because it demonstrates how many Christians and many Jews are recognizing that Messiahs coming is near and how that portends a reconciliation between the two, he said. In my view, as Christians awaken to what they have been blind to an obligation to keep the Torah it will provoke our Jewish friends to see what they have been blind to the identity of the Messiah.More like everyone's expectations will go up in smoke.

This is Lisa Randall. Known as "Father".
I wonder where (or which dimension) she is right now.

Top Rabbis? Good. Those medium Rabbis were all over the place.

... be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

Umm, no one is required to embrace the Jewish faith or celebrate their holidays to be a follower of Christ. Paul made that abundantly clear.

“Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

I am not being a dick when I say this, but what are you going to do about it?
Really?
There are probably two Muslims in my town. And they eat at the barbecue and the kids swim in bikinis. They are not a threat.
This is a huge world. You have to live your life as you wish. We are too worried about what goes on in places too far away. We get worked up about laws that either don’t impact us, or they never will.
I am a good man. I am a charitable man. I help my neighbors, and they help me.
Politics are interesting, but people on this forum are so worried about stuff they hear on TV and on the Internet.
And none of it matters in the end.

Hebrews 10:1-39 speaks of this also. Early Christians whose faith was weakening, were going back to the Jewish ritual of animal sacrifice, abandoning the salvation of Christ.

Yeshua rebuked those things that the leaders had taken away from the Torah by their adding to the Torah, do not add to and do not take away. Paul (Shaul) reminded us to cling to the simplicity that is Messiah. Well, Messiah is the living Torah, He is the Word of Life spoken of by Moses in Dt 32:46-47. That Word does not detail how we are to wash our hands, how we are to put on and tie our shoes, but most importantly, that Word teaches us that our enemies are those of our own household, and He wasn't speaking of Esau, He was speaking of the brothers who sold Joseph into bondage.
I see Hebrews as an epistle of encouragement, sent to the assembly in Jerusalem who was soon to see the temple destroyed and so the writer sent a word of encouragement to the remnant in Jerusalem to cling to Messiah who is in them, for the slaughtering of animals was not the sacrifice that Elohim ever wanted,(Ps 40:6-8) He wanted sacrificed (circumcised) hearts (Dt 5:29,30:6). The new covenant was revealed before the children of Israel crossed the Jordan, centuries before Jeremiah prophesied of it and over a millennium before the writer of the epistle to the Hebrews reminded the remnant. We are never to look to the earthly things, we are to set our hearts on the things of His Spirit, His Torah that leads us to the Living Torah, Yeshua the Messiah.
Rom 7:12 So that the Torah truly is set-apart, and the command set-apart, and righteous, and good. ... 14 For we know that the Torah is Spiritual, ...
