Sad news.
Romans 1:18-32 describes those who should know about God, who are without excuse when they abandon the knowledge of God. Accepting and embracing homosexuals is like a canary in a coal mine; but, unlike honest miners who don’t want to die in some dank black hole, those being turned over to a reprobate will mind press on ever deeper to where the air is worse.
Christians: flee from the midst of such apostasy.

Scripture does not tell us to turn away from the honest unbeliever — how else are we to share the Gospel with them if we do? — but we are to disassociate from false bretherin: who are what we might term high handedly unrepentant.
Call up 100 or however many random Catholic parishes. Even concentrate on really liberal areas. Tell them you have family that attends there. Ask them if they will marry you to another man, and if it’s going to be a problem that you have been civilly married and divorced 3 times before. And see what they say.
That might be a good way to find out where they are at really. Good luck.

On the practical level, the National and International United Methodist Conferences have been disrupted time after time for the past twenty years by homosexualist activists demanding that the UMC change its Biblical standard and accept secular homosexual supremacy. They have done back room deals with gay-leaning bishops to squelch discussion and votes by traditional believers. One year the police had to be called to quell disorderly conduct at the National Conference.
I hear what you are sayng about having a heart to convert people to the truth; but I wonder if you are aware that the homosexual lobby has a war plan and have been waging war on the UMC for decades. Trying to be “nice” and taking a sentimental approach to Christian love is not working. Jesus took a whip to the moneylenders. He was no pushover for sin.
Just go to a liturgy and be done with It!
