It sound good in concept, but these Catholic schools are run by elected Catholic school boards as civil authorities and don't really function the same way your parish schools do here in the U.S. The schools might best be described as "state church" organizations.
Thanks for the info. Guess I need to do some research so I know what I’m commenting on before I let my total ignorance show.
In the meantime my neighbor has a son who teaches in a Baptist church school and we were discussing this article. During a Bible study class just before the end of school the issue of homosexuality came up, her son read the scripture relating to the issue, the child told her parents, both men, and they were not happy with the statement from the Bible and are now suing.
I suspect that the Catholic schools here in the US aren’t far behind.
The bishops in the U.S. used to want tax funding. They have never proposed abolishing government schools.
Catholics who cannot manage to homeschool their children should not get married in the first place.
