MOUNT PROSPECT, Ill. Residents near a newly-opened store in Illinois that caters to adults who want to live like babies are expressing concern over how the business reflects on their community and are calling for it to be shut down or relocated.
The store, called Tykables, is located in a suburb of Chicago, and features adult-sized diapers, cribs, playpens, high chairs and others items for those who who have a fetish for living like a baby, or Adult Baby Diaper Lovers (ABDL).
It is a lot of fun, owner John Michael Williams says of his seven-foot-tall crib in a YouTube video, wearing diapers himself...
But not everyone finds the store to be cute. On Tuesday, concerned community members spoke their mind during the regular city hall meeting.
Tykables, which conducts most of its sales online, is only open by appointment and its windows are covered so passersby cannot see inside. Chicago sexuality coach Tyomi Morgan told the Daily Mail that she found the business to be fine since those with diaper fetishes are not pedophiles. This is the cardinal rule about sexual expression: Any expression is okay as long as it doesnt harm yourself or anyone else, she asserted. Adults wanting to play as babies isnt harming anyone. And if that sexually arouses them its okay. Thats how they personally choose to express their sexuality and it isnt harming a soul. The average person wont understand it because its atypical. Infantilism is not a traditional sexual stimulant and thats why its considered a fetish.
But others who have learned of the matter do not find the store to be appropriate.
This is just one of the many next steps that we have to take after caving in to every single odd/deviant proclivity under the sun! one commenter opined...

And this guy is reportedly on the VP list................LOL
“Sexuality coach”. Graduate of an ivy league school, no doubt.
They had such a place for men who thought they were women and vice versa some years ago. Now they are a “special” group with “special” rights. Can you blame any other brand of deviants for wanting, and thinking they can get, the same in ObaMao’s America where the inmates run the asylum?
I truly don’t believe it’s harmless. It is certainly against God’s will for us, and warps people spiritually in many ways.
And of course they say that it’s not about pedophilia. What else can they say?
They keep their windows covered for a reason. There’s a pole dancing “club,” or whatever it is called, in a plaza near where I live. They keep their windows covered, too.
Our son had a roomie in college who wore diapers. Was not a normal kid, diapers aside.
ROFL
I live in NYC. Seen it all so I guess it doesn’t shock or faze me.
As long as someone isn’t mugging you, you dont care what they’re doing :)
Ok. .. Chicago, some of the suburbs, and the university campuses.
He may have had a bladder problem and while growing up was made fun of all the time.
I don’t think they believe they are babies, they like to pretend they are. Since the windows are blacked out and it’s by appointment only I don’t see how it’s hurting anyone. As for those who think it’s somehow hurting their town’s image, why are they drawing attention to it by protesting? Doesn’t make much sense to me. Just don’t try to make people pretend it’s normal and hold ABDL pride parades.
Gender used to be a physical identifier. Now it’s a feeling identifier.
Age is a physical identifier, but not for long.
An he really is that ugly. I was at a red light in Georgetown a few months ago and Franken walked past my car hood. Oh the temptation.
Sorry officer, was that a Senator I ran over, I thought it was a hate filled clown and I’m scared of clowns.
Yet somehow for the first century of our existence we produced many fine men without a military draft.
More warped and sick freaks.
Surely we are near the end.
I surely hope so.
:-D
I agree. I do not think it is harmless either. It is warped and a sick perversion that can only lead to other more warped and sick perversions.
The growing problem with perversion and filth is that there is no shame to go along with it anymore. It is becoming normal by the example of our equally warped and perverted leadership.
Good Lord - what next? Soon preschools and nurseries in churches and elsewhere will have to go to the expense of accommodating these freaks....diapers, over size furniture, high chairs, potty chairs, what have you!
Just lock them up so they can’t harm themselves or anyone else and forget they ever existed in the first place.
Waiting for obozo to come out demanding equal protection for these numb nuts!
“Where has all the sanity gone?
Long time passing
Oh, when will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Think of it this way.
The question isn’t a matter of relativism, like compared to other things in New York City, it’s “normal.”
And it isn’t up to man’s standards or interpretation, but God’s.
Is it right before God for adults to pretend to be babies, and to be doing so in order to pretend to have sexual relations between adults and babies?
God tells us even our thoughts will be judged by Him.
This isn’t to say that sinful thoughts won’t enter our minds, but that our response to them is what matters. Do we reject what’s wrong, or nurture it?
Sin also comes out of our hearts, which are sinful.
When we don’t reject what’s wrong in our thoughts, we let it take over our hearts, and that always leads to further sin.
And there is no such thing, either, that sin in our thoughts and minds doesn’t harm other people in some way. That’s impossible. The sin will always be acted out in some way.
And this doesn’t even consider someone’s relationship with God Himself, and that as His creatures we are to live to please Him.
I will just add here, too, that like NewHampshireDuo mentioned in this thread knowing of an adult who wore diapers and they weren’t normal, I was also acquainted with someone who wore them (and didn’t need them). He was a middle-aged man who would also dress as a little girl. God showed me over time that he had an ungodly interest in children. I believe, though, that he never touched a child, though he confessed to someone else in my family of a desire to, and likely the only reason he didn’t was that the prospect of prison deterred him. He didn’t seem to care very much what people thought of him, but the loss of freedom and being able to gratify himself in the most basic ways, from food to a comfortable bed and watching t.v., was enough to deter him from going further than thinking about harming a child, or they were at the time I knew him, at least. But those thoughts certainly affected the person he was.
Just wondering... why is this posted on the religion forum? I am not seeing much of a connection.
