After calling on the Lord to save me I came in thru the Pentecostal church...I am all to familiar with those scriptures you cited...I was baptized by a Pentecostal preacher...An those scriptures of course are to the Gentile church...
However, the scriptures I cited are not to the Gentile church...They are to the Jewish church...The Jewish church that started out in Jesus' ministry and prophetically for the Jewish church that will come into existence during the Great Tribulation AFTER the Rapture of the Gentile church...
Taking up poison snakes and drinking poison are NOT prescribed for the Gentile church...They have one purpose and one purpose only...They are for a sign...A sign to the Jews...The Jews then and during the Tribulation will require signs...The Christian Gentile church does not require any signs to have faith in Jesus...We walk by faith, not by sight...
I realize my views on some of the scripture are not 'main stream'...There are numerous Independent Baptist churches that believe and teach what I believe...To reconcile ALL of the scripture given to us, I don't see any other way to look at these things...
