**Just making a comment about those on FR who like to use Catholics as punching bags. It’s a “human sin” problem, not a denominational one.**
The issue is not denominational.
The issue is the associated coverup.
Can’t really disagree with you. Overall, I’m just speaking to those who would use the child sexual abuse as a “convenient stick” to beat Catholics up with.
It gets old after a while. Especially since it’s the hierarchy which has covered up the issues. For the laity it has always been pretty clear cut: wrong is wrong.
