Father in heaven, we come to You in Christ’s Name, and on His merit.

Lord, we pray that You would show our military men and women Your goodness, and bless them abundantly in every way.

You are the LORD our God, who brought Your people up out of Egypt. You removed the burden from their shoulders, and their hands were set free from the basket. In their distress they called and You rescued them, You answered them out of a thundercloud; You tested them at the waters of Meribah. If they would hear You, You warned them to have no foreign god among them, not to bow down to an alien god. We remember, Lord, how You saved Your people, and how You answered them, how You longed that they would listen to You, and how You promised that if they would open wide their mouths, You would fill them. We know that Your hand and Your heart are still open to us today, willing to answer us and to bless us, and we thank You in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
