I have no idea about your home but I can guarantee that there were Bibles in your school. It's no wonder that you misinterpret the Bible now, you rely on your own ability to decipher what authors of a book partially written by Jewish scholars and added to by Christian scholars thousands of years ago when you've studied it for a few years of your adult life. Why don't you listen to people who have devoted their lives to bring you their best and spiritually guided interpretation of God's word? One usually doesn't read through an encyclopedia and decide that they are an expert on everything.

That's right. You don't. Stop trying to pretend you know things like that. You weren't there...you CAN'T know.
And as for reading the words the Holy Spirit inspired the writers of Scripture to say, I will trust that same Holy Spirit to teach me what God wants me to know. Remember, Peter said it was the UNLEARNED and UNSTABLE who wrest and twist Scripture to their own destruction. I will trust God over man.
