I have a cover of this song that's absolutely amazing. But I have absolutely no idea who sings it. Lord knows I've tried to find out who it is, but I've come up empty.
Has anyone heard a good cover version of this song?

I found those versions previously. Both are very good. Unfortunately, not the one I'm looking for. I'm looking for a version that is more recent, probably 10 or 15 years old. Just a male singer and a guitar.
I discovered it on an alt-rock/alt-country mix CD, so I'm guessing the singer works primarily in those genres.

My gawd, is that loser no talent would-be-singer STILL alive? That would be singer became a multi millionaire just on his music alone...Apparently not everyone shares your poor taste...

That would be singer became a multi millionaire just on his music alone...Apparently not everyone shares your poor taste...Being popular and rich is no proof of being good.
The Beatles were MEGA popular, RICH beyond measure and now...the folks say: "Who and who cares?"
People are still playing and listening to Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart...after HUNDREDS OF YEARS. THEY stand the test of time. Not too many of them became wealthy but...people don't say "Who and who cares?"
As for your snide comment....Lol. Who care? 4000 years from now...er I mean, 4 years from now the "popular" singers of today won't even register but the CLASSIC composers will STILL be BIG STUFF.
So much for YOUR taste. :o)
