Trump reacts to comments of Francis
His comment on his own Christianity is of course a matter of faith and in it few could have any issue.
His comment that He will not allow Christianity to be attacked is problematic both politically and Biblically
His comment that the "For a religious leader to question a person's faith is disgraceful" is nonsensical as that would mean that a leader of a Christian faith, or for that matter a Christian of any stripe could not question the faith of a Muslim,Hindu,Jew etc.. which if of course what the entire concept of evangelism is predicated on.
I hope my comment is made in a manner to create thought more than anger.
Didn’t Trump question Carson’s faith and Cruz’s? I am very sure he did.
He didn’t need to respond immediately, although that’s his nature.
He could have slept on it for one night.
I can see no reason this thread should be closed, it set in the religion / politics section.

I Did not say that Fracis was correct nor that I agree with his politics (I do not infact) but trumps comments say something about how highly he thinks of his on opinions.

I’ve been steering away from Trump lately—especially since the trumpbots are just as nasty as Trump is.
Having said this...the Pope should tear down the wall they have around the Vatican based on his current statements. When the pope attacks Trump it makes me not hate Trump as much.
Trump should put a BIG “thank you” check in a Catholic collection plate this Sunday. Their leader guaranteed that he’ll win BIG in South Carolina on Saturday!
He didn't. He said he "didn't know" if they were Christian or not. He DID NOT say they "were not Christian".
Besides, I didn't know that TRUMP was a "religious leader".
Agreed the hypocrisy for the Vatican on the issue is not exactly hard to see, but we do not get to elect the leader of it, we do elect the President.
