What do you mean they?
Do you realize how many millions and millions of Jews that have lived in the last 2,000 years?
The ones alive when Christ returns will be an extremely small % compared to all the others.
The Jews have no special place compared to Japanese or the Dutch.
you called him a dope...is that not unseemly?
The question is,what did Paul mean in Romans 11? That is ll I have to say for now...
Lol, even you realize that it is Catholic doctrine what you and he call “ replacement theology”
You are not Catholic, he is, so when he calls anyone who believes in “replacement theology” anti Semitic, he is calling Catholics for 2,000 years anti-semetic.
You don’t think that qualifies as a dope?
Even you have to laugh at the stupidity.
nice talking to you one LORD, your input is always welcome
I wrote, "Antisemitic Replacement Theology" and whether it is Lutheran or Pentecostal, that theology is antisemitic.
What you call “replacement theology” AKA Christian orthodox teaching since the time of St Paul, has been Catholic teaching from St Paul, thru all the church fathers and of course can never change since it has been divinely revealed. Jews and others who oppose the Church accuse the Church of anti-semitism for teaching the Church is the true Israel of God.
Are you part of the commonwealth of Israel? Or is that reserved for the Jews?
I already posted the teaching of the Church with respect to the Jews. Why are you unable to receive it ? The Jews are beloved. You cannot curse them.
Are you part of the commonwealth of Israel?
Yes
Or is that reserved for the Jews?
It is reserved for the Jews, and it also includes righteous Gentiles.
Righteous Gentiles?
Exhibit A for the apostasy in the Catholic Church.
For those who never learned the Christian Faith properly:
The only righteous Gentiles and righteous Jews are those made righteous by the grace of God in Christ.
Anyone outside of Christ, be they Jew or Gentile, are not and can not be righteous.
In fact, Jesus Christ said unless you believe He was the Messiah sent by the Father, you will die in your sins.
It is amazing those who claim to be Catholic adopt the language of those who are enemies of Christ.
Yes, righteous Gentiles When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Matthew, Catholic chapter twenty five, Protestant verses thirty one to forty six,
as authorized, but not authored, by King James
What would be the point of that?
Not patching an old garment with new cloth, and not putting new wine into old bottles—both metaphors would seem to describe a different kind of being born again, the kind most people accept as being the meaning.
Define a righteous Gentile since I can’t find that language in the Bible.
Born again is a doctrine of Nicodemus... he did not understand what Christ was preaching either.... John 3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, "Art thou a master of Israel, and knows not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye received not our witness.
Remember not one word of the so called NEW Testament was placed on plant fibers or animal skins yet. Thus, Christ is telling Nicodemus, born from above is not a new revelation...
When were all souls and their spirit intellect created?
Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are Mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is Mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
John 1:1 In the beginning (Genesis 1:1) was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... The Holy Spirit comes from the Word, not from being 'born again'.
Someday you may understand.
And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.
Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum. And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die. And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant. And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this: For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue. Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof: Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed. For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour? And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
My deep sincere, apologies to you. Brother, Jan_Sobieski I didn’t mean to be very pushy with you about the article I was just overlay excited I most enjoy talking about Prophecy with you.
So, are you saying a Jew or Gentile can do works of mercy but deny Jesus is the Christ and still be righteous and inherit eternal life?
Not at all, bro! I have been on babysitting duty and have not had time. I want to respond today.
