Who cares what the METHOD is: it prevents pregnancy!
The irony is that Catholics regularly complain that the problem with birth control is that it makes sex about the pleasure aspect only, and to avoid pregnancy, and is the cause of the moral decline in this country, but fail to see that NFP does the exact thing using timing.
They are looking for sex without the risk of pregnancy, which would make it for pleasure only.
If the premise is that sex without the chance for pregnancy is wrong,t hen NFP falls into that category as well as it is for the purpose of having sex without the chance for pregnancy.
But hey, church sanctioned sin works for everyone, just like one can break their marriage vows in the form of annulment instead of the nastier sounding word *divorce*, but its still breaking marriage vows.
1 artificially blocks a natural bodily function, 1 is used when that function probably won't take place...HUGE difference.
