“There are no justifications for these things, religious or human. This isn’t human.”

WRONG!!!

This is precisely human nature, or, did the rebellion and fall of man not happen???

You (and others) might say this is a distinction without a difference but I believe this is an important point. It is not “human nature” to sin because of the Fall; it is our “fallen human nature” that both enables us and gives us a tendency towards sin.

Jesus was both fully divine and fully human. Fully human and yet He didn’t sin. He wasn’t a different kind of human being, He was (and is) the kind of human being we should be, the new Adam. It is not “human nature” to sin, it is “human nature” to not sin. We were made originally to not sin and be in full relationship with God.

When we sin we are actually being less than human. We are inhuman when we sin. We are like an animal when we sin. Actually not even that since animals don’t sin either. We are going against our true nature when we sin. So indeed, the attacks in France were “not human”.
