Thank you for your post and it's great to see your zeal for the faith.

Although many Catholics are leaving the Church that Christ founded to follow Luther's unbiblical tradition of "the Bible alone," the Church continues to grow fairly rapidly worldwide.

In the US, Catholics are generally led away from the Church because of poor catechesis. They don't know how to answer questions posed by Protestants. Many eventually return to the Church.

We are blessed to have Catholic Answers (Catholic.com) today, which fills this great need. It's the easiest way to evangelize and catechize.

STA, I’ve never worshipped at a Christian Church that followed “the Bible alone.” Christ also provided the gifts to the church of pastors, teachers and elders, and importantly, the Holy Spirit Who guides believers into “all truth.”

Best

Why does Rome do such a POOR job of TEACHING?

We are blessed to have Catholic Answers (Catholic.com) today, which fills this great need. It's the easiest way to evangelize and catechize.

"One indeed is the universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved, in which the priest himself is the sacrifice, Jesus Christ, whose body and blood are truly contained in the sacrament of the altar under the species of bread and wine; the bread (changed) into His body by the divine power of transubstantiation, and the wine into the blood, so that to accomplish the mystery of unity we ourselves receive from His (nature) what He Himself received from ours." — Pope Innocent III and Lateran Council IV (A.D. 1215)

Therefore, if anyone says that it is not by the institution of Christ the lord himself (that is to say, by divine law) that blessed Peter should have perpetual successors in the primacy over the whole Church; or that the Roman Pontiff is not the successor of blessed Peter in this primacy: let him be anathema. — Vatican 1, Ses. 4, Cp. 1

Dear Friends,

Many Thanks for all the comments — the positive ones as well as the negative ones attacking Catholicism.

The next blog post on my blog will be on December 12.
