I don’t even see FRoman Catholics agreeing on everything.
I see most of them sitting in judgment on the pope himself about what kind of job he’s doing and whether he’s even a Catholic or not.
No Catholic is in any position to point fingers and chant the *Every man his own pope* meme. They all set themselves up as their own pope when they express their own opinion about where the church is, where it’s going, what kind of job it’s doing, how close to*real* Catholicism it really is, yada, yada, yada.

....”most of them sitting in judgment on the pope himself about what kind of job hes doing and whether hes even a Catholic”....
Well obviously Metmom those in the Priesthood leadership believe that he’s a bit more than a Christian or he would not have been appointed to Popehood, unless of course the problem is the Priesthood in the first place, which is of course easy for non-catholics to see.
It looks more like the Priesthood has more “infallibility” then the Pope....and the members as much since they do vary on what they believe, although they might say otherwise the facts of how they speak of their leadership attests otherwise.
It’s interesting they have said they’ve lived through “other” bad Popes and will do likewise with Francis. That in itself speaks volumes about Catholic leadership.
I don’t think so, I’m not speaking about individual Catholics, who tend to support things like gay marriage at a higher rate than the general public, but in absolutes in faith and morals. Totally agree on off the reservation priests too - we all know them! Thanks
