When the danger of moral contagion is high, the perpetrator should be stoned to death. A more liberal application of the death penalty would have a salubrious effect on society.

Sure, there are plenty perps who deserve the death penalty. The problem is that very few have the specific qualifications found in the Gospel (as in “he who is without sin”) to carry it out.
