We shouldn't be for stoning him to death. We should be for segregating him from people he could harm. For instance there was a Father Karadima, in Chile, who was found guilty of sexual abuses by the Vatican in 2011 and ordered to a life of seclusion, prayer and repentance in some isolated monastery.

When the danger of moral contagion is high, the perpetrator should be stoned to death. A more liberal application of the death penalty would have a salubrious effect on society.
