I only said that Ananias' words were not necessarily inspired, but the recording of Paul telling the story, as recorded by Luke was/is inspired of God. For Ananias to say, "Thus sayeth the Lord, 'Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.' " then I would agree that what Ananias said could have been inspired of God. But the preliminary phase, "And now why tarriest thou . . ." shows that the thought arose out of Ananias' ruminations, was added to what was recorded that the Lord did say unto him, and hence need not be inspired of God, but only of his own urging, which would be only that encouragement to finishing the transaction of repent/commit trus/receive the Holy Ghost/be baptized into discipleship, chronologically speaking. Verbalizing that action is not an inspired prompting.

I'm not going to debate this any further with you.

Using that criteria one could impeach most of the scripture in the New Testament.

  1. The LORD Jesus Christ told Saul to go to Damascus where someone would tell him all he must do.
  2. The LORD appeared to Ananias in a vision and told him what to do.
  3. Saul went to Damascus and Ananias healed him by the LORD and told him what to do.
  4. Saul/Paul recounted the events and said quoted him.
  5. The Holy Spirit included it in Acts, Catholic chapter twenty two, Protestant verses fourteen to sixteen. And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth. For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard. And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
As authorized, but not authored, by King James
  6. Believe it
  7. Or believe not.
