Francis planned an encounter with the poor and prisoners in United States; but in Cuba he did not meet with the Cuban political prisoners of conscience, he did not even dare to receive the Cuban dissidents who are the real representatives of the whole Cuban people captive in the island prison.
For Francis socialism is a form of Christianity in stark opposition to the constant condemnation of socialism in all its forms by the Magisterium of the Church from Pope Leo XIII to Benedict XVI who considered communism as intrinsically evil (Pope Pius XI Enciclical Divini Redemptoris.)
Thank you for posting this. Truly this pope’s behavior in Cuba demonstrates what a disgraceful man he is.
And you hear how humble he is, well take a look at him, he seems quite self satisfied to me. He “really thinks who he is” as we say in Jersey.
Hey Pope, welcome to New York, NOW GO HOME.
"A gigantic image of Jesus Christ is now covering the whole facade of the National Library, at the right wing of the Revolution Square. Meanwhile, the other side is occupied by the altar where the Pope will say a mass "
The bottom says, "Vengan a Mi" (Come to Me)
Cuba Libre! The Martyrs must be remembered. Death to the Castro Brothers and their followers! I want to visit Cuba when it is a free Democratic nation only. JFK Could have done it—but he choaked at the Bay of Pigs.
Not a Shill for the progressives
The Cuban martyrs are in excellent company, as he also desecrates the memories of St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More.
He has a right to set his own agenda.
He didn’t meet with the progressive dissents. Did you read the OP?
I’m curious. Are there any photos of that with actual people in front of it looking on?
Francis’ agenda was clear since the first day of his papacy when he called back to his side radical Marxist Fr. Leonardo Boof, who was silenced by H.H. John Paul II, and also all the leaders of the proscribed Marxist liberation theology, a perversion of the Gospels with the main tenets and praxis of communism, that intrinsically evil ideology whose legacy is more than 100 million deaths, extreme misery and oppression.
Socialism in all its disguises has been condemned by the Magisterium of the Church since Pope Leo XIII to Pope Benedict XVI.
Is he the Black Pope ?
{He has a right to set his own agenda.}
Yes, and others have a right to assess and criticize.
As far as I know (not being Catholic) he is only considered infallible (not by Protestants) in matters of religion.
The social agenda he promotes is antithetical to Christianity.
In the Evangelical Church in which I was raised (and am not affiliated with now), many believed a Pope would be the Anti-Christ. Is that what the Black Pope is?
Excellent story about the tragedy of saints in Cuba. Pope John Paul II went there in 1993 and watched miracles. Francis went there and just had coffee.
The true test of Pope Francis’ power will be to clearly state the following statement: “Medjugorje is fake.” If he says that, then all the greedy people in Medjugorje will see their income shrink, just as if Tom Perry, 92 year old leader of Mormonism stated the following: “The Book of Mormon is fake.” All the income would shrink at BYU.
Why is it that John Paul II did not say “Medjugorje is fake?” Because he used “Medjugorje to crush Moscow which is what happened. Now Medjuorgje is a useless fake.
And how long will this Potemkin Village sheet last when the Pope has left?
I’m taking bets. Less than a week. Any one else got a time period?
Remember, Obama advisor Anita Dunn liked both Mother Teresa and Mao Tse-tung. One was a great humanitarian; the other the world’s greater mass murderer and a “socialist”.
Yes, people can be bipolar fools, dupes and mental cases. I hope you wont’ drink the Jonestown Koolaid of Castroville. It will destroy your mind.
I don’t think it was ever expected to be up for very long. It’s not a permanent structure.
If you’re thinking it may be photoshopped, it’s not. People reporting from Cuba saw it.
No, I don’t think it is photoshopped, I was wondering how many regular Cubans were able to see it; it obviously isn’t made to be there long. The picture is unusual in that this is a big event and there’s no crowd in it. Not a soul; it looks like the photographer wanted it to look abandoned.
