My uncle is a most high reverend in the Episcopal church.

Decades ago he was granted an audience with JP2.

He kissed his ring. He should have known better.

When I asked if that was appropriate since he is not an RC, his response was “But it’s the Pope man! The Pope!” as if star power trumped all.
