Why would you think that? Do you believe as a people we have been obedient to God? Even on FR their are many that are just find with Kim Davis arrest and jailing, does that sound like a people obedient to God?

Since when does God ever bless sin?
Christians are blessed in Jesus but the unbeliever has no claim to being blessed by God, even though they are.
But considering the way this country is going, if you’ve been watching the news lately, there no reason for us to expect anything but the judgment of God on America.
