He was in a position of trust. He acted on it. That is how AM was traced to him through the hack. He blogged about AM and publicly lied. He blogged about Josh Duggar and deceived the public. This is all the flesh, not just the mind.
As with Josh Duggar, we really don't know if he is telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. We know he lied about it. We know he was caught.
He was no less guilty of a sin 99.9 percent of us have done that is unless you don't understand just what that sin actually is. His sin was not taking another ones spouse NOR cheating on his own. His sin was an impure thought he did not follow through on. As such his sin should have been between himself and The Lord. It was no one elses businesses and caused needless pain to others making it public. All he needed was confessing it to The Lord in private, changing his thoughts { also known as repenting}, and getting some professional help so he can get on own with his life and for him it sounds like a wife down the road would be a good idea. But women who can take the stress of being a ministers wife are not found everywhere.
