John 20:21-23
21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
Yup. Somehow I've missed Mary; Mother of Mercy in this passage.

She hasn't"missed"you, Elsie! She loves you, and when God calls you home, you'll see her! She is the mother of He Who is merciful-who is Mercy Itself; it is our sin from Adam that could only be removed by her Son's Incarnation, Life, Passion, Death and Resurrection. Our sins killed her Son. Would we not also need forgiveness for such an atrocity as the created torturing and murdering its Creator?
