Yeah, true. While I don't want the end of this age to come any time soon, one pleasure will be that on that day it does come the scoffers that Jesus spoke about will be very embarrassed. The pleasure being that at least they will know they should have watched rather than make light or call people "nuts" for fellowshipping in their watch for God's signs
Well, actually that may not be true. They may be like Democrats and hold their mistakes as virtues.
But some will be so embarrassed they will want the mountains to fall on them.
2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Some seem to think because they can't do anything about the end of this age, why discuss it? This verse tells me there will be shame on that day for those who scoff at or refuse to fellowship with those who watch for the signs.
I take notes. I gaze out from the tower. And I am hoarse...
And never attack an innocent site that provides variety and great conservative information.
I thought you said a couple of weeks ago I was too “crazy” to post to.
I don’t lie, ever.
Believe what you want about my question.
Most posters on here know me well enough to understand what I said.
Sorry you assume I’m a liar based on one debate we had.
Do you assume that about everyone who disagrees with you?
Your the one who associated Sodom with my word “party”. Not me.
“So it’s not important to watch for possible signs from God?”
I’m saved and wont be here when it goes down.
What’s the point of worrying about it?
I don't remember saying that, but if I did, it was because you were fantasizing about starving 100,000,000 of your fellow Americans to death.
I dont lie, ever.
I don't think I said you did. Crazy people aren't necessarily liars. You could be intellectually dishonest though, pretending you meant nothing by your first post on this thread.

Most Freepers aren't your normal "man on the street". I think anyone can read your post #2 and get your drift. I think most of the people I disagree with here on this topic or others must revise truth to have their positions. I'm against revising the truth of history or the Word. I don't think God considers those who look for His signs in the heavens as "nuts".
Nice cherry-picking there. No, I mentioned three specifically and added the word "etc" to indicate there were more than the three mentioned. While it's true Sodomites are best known for their sodomy, Gomorrah is not known for that, Israel is not known for that, the rest ("etc") are not known for that, so it should be obvious I wasn't talking about Sodomy since I gave multiple examples, I was speaking of nations or city-states through history that refuse to watch for signs of destruction and just party on like nothing can happen to them.
Im saved and wont be here when it goes down.
Barring death yes you will, there is no rapture. We will all be here for it, God will see who has studied to show themselves approved and who hasn't and will fall for the one that promises to remove them before the Seventh Trump.
Whats the point of worrying about it?
You're the captain of your ship, live in your la la land of escape to the clouds and call everyone nuts that watches and prepares. Pretty soon I think, we'll see who had the better strategy.
False prophets come and go.
My apologies.
You weren’t the one that called me crazy. It was late last night and my brain was growing a little fuzz on it.
Sorry though, not dishonest in any way.
I genuinely asked asked a question because I didn’t want to post something from a website not trusted by many FReepers.
And yes I still think the whole “Blood Moon” thing is much more of an interesting story about the way we measure time, and Earth’s place in the universe, but if you wish to believe it’s a sign from God, by all means.
I just choose not to follow suit.
On to the more interesting subject, Rapture.
You don't believe in the Rapture?
Don't get me wrong, I have heard there was a fissure in the Church about this subject, but have never actually heard anyone admit they didn't believe it.
The passage I come back to is;
Revelation 3:10
Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.
I don't believe any such thing about a land in the clouds. But you say God's plan is that all those who have been saved will have to stay around for the torture of the seven years of tribulation?
To what end? To further test saved Christians?
I don't buy it. God loves us and has made known that he wants no harm to come to His children. That if we accept his path to salvation, and live according to his Commandments, we will live eternally in paradise.
The equivalent would be the parent who forces his child to stand out side after dark in the freezing rain, after promising they could come in when the sun went down.
Would the child's faith in the parent be strengthened, or weakened?
“Eassyy there hoss.
Are you really comparing WND to Christs Word?
Hyperbole much?”
Another loose cannon incapable of discerning what is written...wow, the ignorance that is so rampant around Free Republic...what the heck happened to reasoning and faith?
“wow, the ignorance that is so rampant around Free Republic”
Who? Me or the person who made the analogy?
I found the analogy insulting, unseemly, and hyperbolic.
I even told the poster if they had used, for example, the death of Nathan Hale, I would have never commented.
So I hope you weren’t speaking of my knowledge.
Comparing criticism of a website (which I never did in the first place) to the Persecution of Jesus is ignorance on parade.
As I said, I am a watchman, not a prophet. I am not prophesying that there will be anything happening on this last blood moon. I will be watching though, and if I see signs that the evil councils (Obama included in this, he works for them) are planning something big I may take steps to prepare financially.
Of course not.

He keeps the 7000 from the hour of trial through the Holy Spirit and through the study of His Word. The 7000 will not be tempted by the antiChrist. As Revelation says, the "whole world" will fall for the antiChrist. All but the 7000 that will either be thrown in a religious jail or given a place of safety to broadcast truth. You say that you've never heard of anyone that doesn't believe in the rapture, well by reading Revelation then, that should tell you that the antiChrist has everyone but the 7000 locked into his plan already.
I don't believe any such thing about a land in the clouds. But you say God's plan is that all those who have been saved will have to stay around for the torture of the seven years of tribulation?
It's not torture, it appears to be wonderful. The antiChrist conquers through prosperity as the bible says. Christ and antiChrist are like two suitors to a woman. Christ represents a good man, and antiChrist represents one who will become abusive after marriage. They both are wonderful to the woman during the courtship, but if the woman wrongfully chooses the abusive one, then as soon as she marries him the beatings begin over whatever little things the abusive husband obsesses over. You're going to think antiChrist is Christ here to take you to your clouds.
To what end? To further test saved Christians?
All throughout history Christians have been martyred, by the Romans, the babylonian Catholics, and now today by the Islamists. Why is it that you're so special that you can't simply be put in a position to chooses the right suitor?
I don't buy it. God loves us and has made known that he wants no harm to come to His children. That if we accept his path to salvation, and live according to his Commandments, we will live eternally in paradise.
He has to see who is truly one of His children.
The equivalent would be the parent who forces his child to stand out side after dark in the freezing rain, after promising they could come in when the sun went down. Would the child's faith in the parent be strengthened, or weakened?
How about a parent who lets his child play sports? The child will be on the losing end on occasion. Does that mean the parent is cruel to the child for not stopping them from participating? You act as if the thrill of victory is never worth the agony of defeat or the struggle to overcome your opponent.
