The impending crisis that the swirling vortex of signs and events is pressing upon this world brings to mind that song of Johnny Cash titled, “Five Feet and Rising,” where he progresses through the song’s narrative of flood waters overwhelming his family’s farm. [1]
Not only does it identify with all the turbulent storms and flooding in recent months, but it resonates with the flooding of crime, murders, rioting, sexual assaults and social immorality. Not a pretty sight, for sure! One of the prophecies proves my point, however, according to 2 Timothy 3:1-5:
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.”
Earlier, in his first letter, 1 Timothy 3:1-2, he identified, perhaps, the root cause of today’s social and immoral degradation:
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron….”

I don't believe we are as close to the end of the Church Age as it seems. Western civilization has collapsed. The USA has traded in American Exceptionalism for the European nightmare. We have become a Godless nation, but even as we rebel against God, Christianity is growing in Asia, Africa, central & south America.
2Thes. 2:3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed.
I posted it open to everybody so that they can either continue to mock & scoff at it (2 Peter 3:3-7) or at least try to reason with logic that maybe it could happen & soon.

IMHO we’re there at the end of this Church Age. The violence that Paul talks about has been here for some time, and the waxing colder & colder gets worse by the day. The falling away in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 has been happening for sometime throughout the traditional Christian world.
The technology of Revelation is here now! In twenty years, this world will have eclipsed it by a long shot if the Lord tarries that long. Scientists are talking about Transhumanism and Singularity now as if we’re approaching that point with the use of chips, scanners, & nanotechnology.

Where in scripture does it specifically says he only comes “once” more?
We all base our stances on Biblical Truth right?
There was judgment in the beginning of the earth in the garden,... judgment on the earth with Noah,... judgment on cities with Sodom and Gomorrah... and there will be the judgment ‘of nations and people’ when Christ comes back. That is well understood in the Christian community.
I don’t think any know just how intense these “signs” will get before He comes....but surely we are seeing the beginnings of them. The bible tells us...like pains of childbirth which increase in intensity and are shorter together.
The easy out for non-believers are to lay blame on Climate Change for this increase. ...and are doing so even before things pick up intensity and frequency.
I’m not a reader of “Rapture Ready” as I do think often there’s too much hype.....but I do think we need to be aware of the International Stage and what’s going on.....and the overall “apostasy” which is certainly happening in waves in our country.
These cannot be easily overlooked..nor should they be.
Might be Christianities last stand in those countries....but with those precious few true conversions we're also seeing a huge false Jesus being preached there.......one of great sensationalism and taught as experiences which are then integrated into a false gospel message.
The whole thing ‘on blood moons’ is completely blown out of proportion and speculation.
If the sun is darkened or the moon turns red it does not mean fulfillment has occurred ‘unless the other points mentioned coincide’. .....This is where prophecy teachers get ahead of themselves and make something out of near nothing. We should be careful not to say this will be fulfilled or is fulfilled when it is not.

I believe so as well...which is why we should watch regarding her. ...but really we are to watch for Jesus as the time approaches no matter what generation sees the ultimate signs.

Though I agree we need to be observant of Israel...the US needs to become less in International Power in order for events to continue to line up in Europe and the ME. Obama has certainly made that more of a reality then any other President....and he’s not finished yet dragging this country down.
Those are actually ‘two separate events’....if someone tries to make them one then their entire position will fail.

Europe restructuring like Hollande has been posturing lately.
There’s a few things that need to be done, but in reality it can all happen rather quickly.
Make a few hundred million people disappear without a trace, watch the entire world economy implode exponentially, shutdown e-commerce and international trade, worldwide riots and lawlessness where millions more are killed, a couple shooting wars with tactical nukes. From the ashes one man rises and demands “calm” and he comes up with all the answers.
There’s too much that still needs to be positioned.....even for a World War which isn’t going to happen when the International Community is focused on making certain it doesn’t currently.
However, what Israel does regarding the shaping of World Events does matter.....thus watch carefully Imo.
We know that the World will turn completely away from Israel....should she bomb Iran, in light of the fact the World Leaders are supporting the Iran deal, this could set the World against her.
It’s very risky for Israel at the moment. ....no matter which way they go. If they wait Iran and the ME countries could certainly push against her .....If they bomb the World may see it as Israel striking the match for war.
IMO Watch Israel is very much key.

Matthew 24:27 also supports what you are saying.

I believe in the rapture as I have experienced it already. Being “raised up” to experience Heaven and Jesus is as real as can be. It’s a tough journey as I had to physically die to experience it the first time. After that it is has been quite frequent as long as I do not inflate myself by owning the experience as a possession.
Everything is happening exactly as it is supposed to as God is in control and His Divine Plan is unfolding. Just hang onto your hats, look to God for your strength and hang on for the ride.

All that is happening now is that the weeds see the coming changes and are creating the turmoil in order to hide in the field.
From a higher level of understanding, God is using the weeds to help us get rid of the old and make room for the new... wine-skin... cloth...
We are actually entering wonderful times as people will be forced to turn to God for their strength. Tough birthing pains, but wonderful outcome.

Great use of Scripture!
I notice most who do mock will not use scripture to back up their reasoning.
I think this goes back to not being governed by a literal first understanding of Scripture. In the first 2-3 centuries literal first understanding of Scripture was dominant, but with the rise of the State church and then Augustine an allegorical approach began to dominate. Augustine did promote literal first interpretation for most of Scripture, but not prophecy. In the process a lot of clear easily understood eschatology became confused.
Most of the scoffers don't even realize that the pre-nicene church was premillenial. Amillennialism didn't emerge until a state sanctioned church emerged.
