I used to listen to Bro. Roloff (Not Rolloff) on the radio some 10-15 years ago. He was one of them old school fire and brimstone preachers. Entertaining in a way.

His clashes with the State over his children’s homes were epic battles.

Most people won't listen to preaching unless it IS somewhat entertaining ... but I don't listen to an entertaining preacher .... I listen to preaching that keeps my interest

Some preachers have it, and some don't

I'm trying to get the Gospel out and I welcome any and all to listen freely

Roloff preached stridently against homosexuality,[1]communism, television, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, gluttony, and psychology. His strong stands led to disagreements with most of his Southern Baptist brethren. In 1956, after giving a speech at his alma mater Baylor University criticizing denominationalism, Roloff broke with the SBC and joined the Independent Baptist movement.
