I recall the Book stating:
1 Corinthians 15:50-58
I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
Yet these non 'flesh and blood'; incorruptible bodies are going to RETURN to EARTH?
It makes little sense to me.
Yet these non 'flesh and blood'; incorruptible bodies are going to RETURN to EARTH?
It makes little sense to me.
It's a dispensational thing...The Kingdom of God (the heavenly kingdom) is spiritual...There's plenty of scripture to back that up...There are no completely human bodies there...
The Kingdom of Heaven is physical...It is the kingdom that will be on earth with Jesus physically reigning over live, human bodies...
When the imperishable bodies return to earth with Jesus we has a job to do:
2Ti_2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
1Co 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
1Co 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
One of the great things about being a dispensationalist is that you learn what to do with ALL the scriptures...They do ALL fit...
“Yet these non ‘flesh and blood’; incorruptible bodies are going to RETURN to EARTH?
It makes little sense to me.”
Don’t you believe Christ is going to return to earth in His incorruptible body?
