WoW...Never heard that one before...
I only started thinking about it because some one is always using the argument against the Catholic doctrine that since Paul had to correct Peter then Peter could not have been very great.
Paul does not say that he corrected Peter he said he withstood him face to face which he most likely thought was a pretty big sized job.
What they fail to understand is that it was just an unofficial accusation.
Mathew 18
15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
It was not mentioned by Luke who wrote the account of Pauls circumcision of Timothy which I would think Paul would have wanted to keep quite seeing as how opposed he was to the Jews teaching circumcision, was he afraid of the Jews or what?
A fine one to call Peter a hypocrite.
It was simply told to the world through Pauls letter to the Galatians.
Which in my book is nothing but gossip or even worse slander.
But the way I see it Paul will be Paul, but if you think this is anything new just go to Google and write in search (The false apostle)

Paul was most certainly no hypocrite!
His opposition to circumcision was for those that were not of the circumcision. Timothy was of the circumcision.
Luke was not a witness to the events of which he wrote in his gospel; he was merely writing as Peter’s scribe, thus it was really the gospel according to Peter that he wrote.

Norten is just another Johnny-come-lately on the subject.
The gospels and the Acts are better source materiel since they demonstrate the importance of the appointed times to the early believers of Yeshua.

I really think you should read them again.
I do not need to read them again as I realize what you are saying.
Since you brand Paul a liar then it follows that Peter was a liar as well.>>>>>>>>>>>
Not so at all, we are talking about a particular incident, Most of Pauls writings are real good, likely Peter did not read Galatians.
But there is more, much more that concerns me.

Paul was most certainly no hypocrite!
If Peter was a hypocrite Paul was a hypocrite.
Plus Paul slandered peter.
Luke was not a witness to the events of which he wrote in his gospel; he was merely writing as Peters scribe, thus it was really the gospel according to Peter that he wrote.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Luke also accompanied Paul probably later and some believe was even converted by Paul.

LOL!
So Peter might have recommended Paul's teachings but he couldn't have known what Paul was teaching otherwise he would not have endorsed it.
And even though Peter and the other apostles met with Paul and confirmed that his wisdom and teachings were God given they must have been mistaken. Because they couldn't have said that given what Paul wrote even though that is exactly what they did say.
Pretzel logic.
None of Paul's writings were secret.

Do you actually believe God will allow jet aircraft to fall from the sky when pilots disappear? What else do you expect it to do?
A plane without a pilot WILL eventually crash.
God "lets" a lot of things happen. Why not "let" the pilotless plane behave in the normal way a pilotless plane would behave?

The Vulgate quoted from in
on the home page of that site:
Latin Vulgate . com helps you understand difficult verses in the Bible using the original Latin Vulgate as a reference.
Sometimes meaning gets lost in the translation.
By going back to one of the original texts, you can often figure out the meaning.
One of these original texts is the Latin Vulgate written by Saint Jerome.
...
What's Inside
- The complete Latin Vulgate as written by St. Jeromes
- The Douay-Rheims English translation in parallel w/ original commentary
- The entire King James Version in parallel for an alternative semantic translation
- Search capabilities
- Tools for saving and managing phrases
- Phrase e-mailer
So ... I DID QUOTE FROM
the Latin Vulgate written by Saint Jerome.

That would be the Second coming of Christ and the final Judgement.
NOT some interim event as intended by the hoax called the Rapture.
