Here is yet more information, for those who miss the Rapture and are here after the event. This is for people, not any particular congregation of people. Please, think about it ...
Hey, that's great. I am sure you will tell him about it when you see him. I will indirectly thank Dawson Trotman, although he died about 14 years before I became a true Christian. It was the wonderful guys affiliated with the Navigators, that led me to true faith. They were serious about their lifestyle, and they had something that I knew I didn't, a personal relationship with God. We're going to have that great Nav conference in the sky. 😂😇😎😀 I am just not positive it will be pre trib or post trib 😄😅😊
I watched the u-tube. Good rendition. One comment...
Daniel’s 70 weeks (of years)...
The 69th week ended when Jesus was baptized by John (the Baptist) in the river Jordan. (Count the weeks of years...this is correct). The 70th week began immediately. In Daniel there is no indication that his 70 weeks of years are not consecutive.
And yes, the 70th week was shortened...
...Jesus earthly ministry was ‘shortened’ to 3 1/2 years.
Theologians like to confuse things by bringing multiple things out of context to bear on ‘todays’ theological argument.
When one is born from above, God puts His Life, His eternal life, by His Holy Spirit in the once dead spirit of the man. The Presence of this Spirit in the human spirit will be a resonance point to which the trumpet blast calling His Church out from the Earth will be aimed. Satan cannot play that tune. He can make pretend, but he cannot do what the Trump of God will do.
You see, God spoke, and worlds leaped into existence! How much easier it is to speak a trumpet sound and His indwelling Holy Spirit Create a new body of greater dimensional quality. In 1 John we read that when Jesus appears (and I believe this is in the Air, not upon the Earth) we shall see Him as He really is. He is dimensionally much greater than we are now. He can appear in a locked and shuttered room. He can disappear physically from a tomb. He can appear on a road, walking with forlorn disciples, then just disappear from their presence after giving thanks for the meal they were about to eat. So, how is it that we will need to be like Him in order to see Him as He really is?
If you had a world of only two spatial dimensions, a resident of that flatland would not have any way to see a sphere except it be passed through their two dimensional realm. Everywhere the sphere was in their realm as it passed through their realm, they would see but a two variable portion of the sphere, circles of growing then diminishing size. Jesus taught this to Philip in the 14th chapter of John's Gospel, when He told Philip that all he could see of God The Father was where God intersected Philips dimensional variable. But when the indwelling Hly Spirit transforms us in the twinkling of an eye, we shall be made like Him, greater dimensional beings able to see Him as He really is.
The satan cannot do such things for he has not hold on the spirit of the born from above, omly God indwells there.
Please overlook the typos ... I’ve been bore sighting .22lr all day, adjusting holographic sights and red dots and telescopic sights. My old fingers are getting pretty stiff.
When I read Daniel 9 I see Messiah was cut off with nothing, ending the 69th week until God starts the count once again. When the 69th week ended, the ministry for the Jews was suspended, the making an end to sin. During the Church Age there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile, as any can become born from above by the same faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord and have God’s family life source, The Holy Spirit, indwelling them. During the seventieth week, the weeks of years re-starts at the beginning of the seventieth week and runs seven years. Folks tend ot conflate the Luke passage (Luke 21) on end times, taught in the temple prior tot he Olivet Discourse, with the Olivet Discourse found in Mark 13 and Matthew 24. The Daniel prophecy was directly cited by Jesus in the Olivet Discourse. The last week of years has yet to begin.
It was the prophecy given regarding the temple while int he Temple that prompted his four to ask about the destruction of the Temple and the end of the Age, not having a clue that a new Age of salvation by faith was about to unfold. So Jesus gave the Olivet Discourse to show them the prophecy for the true end of the Age ahead, an age which has lasted nearly 2000 years, so far.
If you read the Luke 21:36 verse, I believe Jesus was giving a huge clue about the eventual Rapture of His Church: 36 Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.” The escape is the Rapture and the ‘stand before the Son of Man’ is the Bema Seat judgment in Heaven, of the Church individually.
Jesus DID reveal to Paul a ‘new coming’...It was a mystery up til the time of Paul...
1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
>>There’s a trump sounded after the tribulation, Matt. 24:29-31, surely the last trump wouldn’t you say? You have Paul adding to Jesus’s words with a pretrib last trump. Nothing is said in the 1 Cor. passages you cited about the last trump taking place before the tribulation, you read that into the passage. It’s the same last trump as Jesus’.
Or maybe they will be given an explaination that sounds Biblical...ie:didn't the messiah say the sheep and goats would be separated?Well...the goats are gone and here I am.
The rapture isnt a return We are caught up to meet Him In the clouds- His return is when He comes to reign in the millennium.
>>Not if you understand the rapture an aspect of the same event, when He returns to reign in the millennium. It doesn’t take two separate events, its all done in one movement from heaven to earth.
That's a massive study. Instead of copying and pasting another person's words I'll start simple:
1Th 4:13 ¶ But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep,...
Those that are asleep are those that have died before us.
...that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
God is bringing the dead with him here. We're not meeting Him there.
1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
We cannot precede the dead, they are already with Him.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:...
The Trump of God is the seventh. Satan comes at the sixth.
...and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Those that have died before our time have already risen and are waiting to meet us on earth.
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,...
Clouds of people.
...to meet the Lord in the air:...
"Air" is the "spirit" in the Strong's.
...and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Again, this is at the Seventh Trump, when Satan is defeated and locked up for a thousand years. Those found worthy will be with the Lord forever, those not will be burned up after the Millennium.
Rev 19 takes place during the Tribulation...The church (the Bride) is in heaven getting married...
>>No, not until the judgment of the great whore at the close of the tribulation, amidst the rejoicing that the millennial has come, Rev. 19:1-6, does the marriage of the Lamb take place, only then is his wife said to be ready, Rev. 19:7-9.
It will take the tribulation to get most Christians ready for the marriage, most being pretribs. Pretribs, due to their false beliefs, aren’t ready for the tribulation, let alone the marriage of the Lamb.
Read the biblical accounts of the two events carefully and analyze the differences. I’m not trying to put you off, I want you to see it for yourself.
>>As a former pretribber trying to get to the bottom of this, I HAVE read the alleged two events carefully, probably more than you, and I have done a lot analyzing, and I have seen for myself, but what I have found is not what you claim, I have found the case for pretrib wanting.
You fellows don’t realize you are doing it, as I once did, but you are reading into scripture something that isn’t there.
Put your six gun away, Yosemite, you are firing at the wrong guy, I agree with you...mostly, except for your take on the word “rapture.” It IS in the Bible, in the Latin translation of 1 Thess. 4. It does not take place before the tribulation, it takes place in one event at the end of the tribulation. Post-trib rapture, not pretrib rapture.
You mean like when people post in CAPS? That kind of angry?
You seem to be the only angry poster on this thread,...and perhaps that troll who sashayed through, but no one took the bait.
I don’t know about you but I’m finding people just aren’t interested as they’re so wrapped up in the world....and the new religion of “Unity” and ‘We’re all Citizens of the World” movement...I figure by then they’ll believe God removed us to get us out of their way.
OK.
