Here is yet more information, for those who miss the Rapture and are here after the event. This is for people, not any particular congregation of people. Please, think about it ...
And for the record I did watch the entire video noted the mistakes and chose not to participate in a discussion that I was pretty certain would turn ugly.
It turns out I was correct.
There is an interesting way to look at those ten bridesmaids. There were five who kept oil in their lamps. It Bible analogies oil is used for the Holy Spirit. The five who went to buy oil were carrying lamps, probably nice shiny ones, lamps that look good, were the best money could buy, but they were just lamps. With no oil in them they gave no light so those carrying them, those more about their lamps than the oil in lamps were left behind.
The wise were prepared, having kept the commandments, the unwise were not.
This is where the coming as a thief comes in. There is no time to do what you should have been doing.
Bully for you.
Well the thief come in because most everybody believes He (Christ) has come and are no longer watching and waiting. Big religious revival taking place with the fake Jesus. That is what/who fell away.
Might be interesting to see how they line up in totality (or don't) with Irving and Darby.
2Thessalonians 2:
[1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
[2] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
[3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
[4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
It still is simply the abandonment of Torah, and the taking of the holy place by the man of sin. The key element is Satan being cast out to the Earth is what allows it all to happen, of course, but this is the midpoint of the 70th week specifically that Paul is explaining.
They don’t!
Yes he is. Normally, “Hmmm” is an expression intended to raise suspicion. As we are unable to read your mind, could you illuminate us as to what misgivings you might have regarding Professor Hindson?
Better yet, if you have no suspicions, you might add to the general tranquility and put our minds to rest by telling us all plainly that you actually have no problem with him.
As for his teaching, I listened to the video and found nothing in it that bashes any one particular denomination. He is merely appealing to everyone to be sure they have a true faith in Christ and not in their own works, as the storm approaches. Surely you would agree that is sound advice?
Especially so as the consensus builds, I think rightly, that this approaching storm is unlike any other that has gone before it, and could well be the big one. If there was ever a time to set aside small things and look toward Christ in complete faith, this is it.

Only those that do not read the word can be fooled.
My interpretation is all Christians indwelt by the HS will be taken into the ark (Jesus Christ) for safety (the rapture) The dwelling in the desert is for the Jews that will be converted to saving faith in Yeshua during the tribulation.
I realize YMMV and there are multiple interpretations, not any one of us has all the answers. End times prophecy and its interpretation requires humbleness on the part of the interpreter as there is a large chance any one of us has at least some of it wrong. I offer my interpretation in that spirit. Have a great day.
I rarely agree with you, but on this I do agree in respect to pinging people who are unlikely to appreciate the invitation. In the context of our shared experiences here together, the many past threads, so much water under the bridge, it is predictable that for the opposition party such an invitation would be unwanted, and so it would be judicious to let people make up their own minds about participation.
However, having said that, I believe many folks here are not being their normal selves, and do not have it worked out yet what the new “anti-bashing” rule really means in practice. Without unambiguous evidence to the contrary, I would presume innocence of motive by all parties. It will lower folk’s blood pressure, hopefully discourage an unhealthy hypersensitivity, and contribute greatly to the common good.
Peace,
SR
I am firmly convinced the pretrib rapture is the correct interpretation and I joyously look forward to the rapture at any time.
However I am not foolish enough to think I have all the answers. If I am wrong my faith will not be shaken, I will still be a redeemed child of the King, and spend all eternity worshipping my Savior - hence the confidence that even if I am wrong it will all pan out. I do not think this is an argument that should divide any of us. I can only testify to the joy in my spirit since I understood the rapture and began to study in earnest.
[[With all respects, Bob, RE: your post 69, the History Channel is not the place you should go to get to the bottom line on this issue.]]
I donb’t go there for biblical insight- I sinmply said they weren’t too far off from actual biblical texts- and it was interesting to see a visual of how things ‘could be’ during the tribulation- that’s all
[[The tribulation is not the wrath of God, the wrath of God is poured out on the ungodly at the end of the tribulation...]]
The wrath is unleashed during all the seals- not just after the sixth is broken- there are two schools of thought here- one beign that the seals up until the 6’th are the ‘wrath of the lamb’ then specifically become the wrath of God after that- God will use the persecution by Satan as judgement on the people,.
The tribulation begins after the hurch is caught up- Israel is the one that will undergo the ‘refining’ during that period according to some- it is the ‘time of Jacob’s trouble’- when they “Pass under the Rod; “ Eze 26:34 - In Eze. 22:19-21 we see God bringing them into a ‘metling pot’ to ‘refine them’ during this time because the strayed from Him all these years
The wrath of the lamb is set upon the earth’s inhabitants from the first seal onward- and this happens during the tribulation- or rather is the tribulation period- The whole perios is judgement and wrath- which God states we will be spared from because we are not under His wrath
I’ll respond more tonight- too tired right now to think-
I’ve gone back and forth over whether the church will have to endure the tribulation, and heard from many fine teachers both pro and con- Both sides have compelling arguments, however I believe pretrib wins the day with a bit stronger evidence In the end
[[It is the pouring out of Satans wrath on the saints]]
The tribulation will have the wrath hitting people who accept Christ after the trib, and the jews for sure- however, the tribulation period is when the seals and judgements are opened and the world suffers the wrath of a Just Christ/God on the unjust world
You atre correct though God’s wrath is poured out in the bowl judgements- however, there is the period before the bowl judgements when judgement is dished out and it is called the tribulation period
I know the verse you are talking about about the ‘elect’ however, the elect can also mean those saved AFTER the rapture as well- it doesn’t have to mean ‘present’ pre trib Chistians- everyone who ever will get saved is the ‘elect’- and we know people will get saved during the tribulation period- the elect will be saved during that time
Exactly. The ones taken by Rapture Doctrine will be taken by Satan. We must remain in the field and remain grinding at the mill working.
And going by your criteria, Salvation wasn’t talking to you.
“The ones taken by Rapture Doctrine will be taken by Satan” Um, I am curious. How does that work? How does a Christian believing in the Rapture get taken by Satan since Salvation is eternal life from God by the Holy Spirit indwelling the believer? I’m curious ...
