Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience.

I'm ready to suffer - but no one should say I am suffering as an evildoer.

Whenever I have an opportunity to tell people about my Lord and Savior, I will. I will do it with humility as best I can.

If I have sinned against anyone with offensive language, then tell me (Matt 18:15) I will humbly seek forgiveness and reconciliation.

Many people have declared a hearty "Amen!" to you. I do not.

I'm on a different mission than you. This is not my home.

Our missions may intersect, but they are not the same. I believe my principle responsibility is to do God"s work while I am here. Then I'm going home to be with my Victorious King!

There is no contradiction between working for a God-fearing government AND being polite on a religious forum on a website with the purpose of working for a God-fearing government.

I tell my children that they are under obligation to vote because of Romans 13. It is true. The governing authorities are established by God is clearly the message of Romans 13...for our good. However, in our system WE are the government. "WE the People of the United States...".

As the governing authority, WE THE PEOPLE, have a God-given responsibility to participate in this government so that it DOES GOOD, that it protects justice, that the people are defended, that they are not subjugated.

So, is it a wake-up call for the founder of this site to say, "We are on a mission from God!"

No, it is not!

It is ENTIRELY Biblical and Christian, and enabling this site to pursue this unified mission is a Godly mission.
