That's not the purpose of FR and not the purpose of our Religion forum. Trashing religion is not debate.
Those who cannot live with this are welcome to post elsewhere.
To give us an opportunity to pray for patience and charity in defending our faith. That would be my better self answering. The not so better self believes it is because they are ignorant jerks.
Best post you’ve ever made on FR.
Thanks
AMEN!
There is really nothing you can do about what some random Freeper tags as a keyword to your posts. Now if the mods delete a post for Catholic bashing in which you have never mentioned Catholicism, you are officially Entitled To Complain. OK??
That is LOL funny. It is "catholic bashing" if protestants post their history. Not the other way.
Agreed, I am a Catholic, but the Mormon hater that kept posting non-stop made my blood boil.
Oh I was strictly referring to your earlier post
Nor is it “bashing” to post the known history of Catholicism.
But Catholics don’t seem to see it that way.
No it’s pretty obvious that those who are questioning Jim on this matter are looking for the zot line so they can dance on one side ot it.
BTTT!
You know what is really kind of funny is that the only ones that are kvetching about this are the most virulent anti-Catholics. If you look it is a veritable who’s who of bigotry. The only one missing is your liberal friend, but it is still early.
This agnostic thought the constant anti-Catholicism had gotten old too.

P.S. What about the Apple bashing festivals?
wonderful post.
As we forgive others, so shall God forgive us.
Bless you.
This Catholic agrees.
Bashing Apple is ok. Everyone knows they are evil. ;-)
Started my monthly back up!
Thanks, Jim!
Thank you. I come late to this thread, as I’ve been out all day.
I say thank you as a Catholic, but also as a conservative who is concerned for my country. All good men and women have to work together to restore our country, and it’s very unlikely to happen unless all Christians can forget their differences, agree to disagree, and work together on things they can agree on—such as family, life, freedom, and basic morality.
I don’t recall starting a thread and when I do post, I try to be respectful of sincere differences that are not incompatible with my own though at difference. Example: Islam commands killing infidels, I reject that and label it the religion of Satan. Am I therefore a Muslim basher? Yes, I am and proud of it I’ll explain that more thoroughly when I respond to another post.
I find what you are saying quite sensible but still lacking in a philosophical expression of principle. I think we are close and my intention was never a hostile engagement with Jim Robinson, though he is responding as if it were.
