Certainly I have never said that works save anyone. Works are simply the evidence of faith. Grace will not save the faithless. Again you show me your works and I will show you your faith said the Apostle James.
When you said “it is certainly worth your time to know the saving Gospel of Grace that can alone lead you to eternal life.” I would agree completely. But when you look at your statement there is an important word, “lead”.
Faith can lead you to Grace and Grace can lead you to that Eternal life.
Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.
Catholicism is a works based religion, teaching sincere people that they must work to obtain eternal life. The Truth is, straight from scriptures, that a born from above person will have a lifetime thereafter working but the glory is due the Lord not the worker, for eternal life is not earned, it is the Gift of God lest any man or woman boast.
You didn’t answer my question.
Faith in The Christ as your Deliverer from the disease of sin results in immediate ‘born from above’. THEN His life indwells you to show the works of righteousness that He originates through you. Grace is not a reward fro diligence. To believe that is contrary to what God says in His Word. Sadly, that striving to obtain is the gospel of catholiciism but not eh Gospel of God’s Grace in Christ Jesus.

I know you're taking a lot of heat lately, try to not let it get you down. There are a lot of Born Again Christians who really don't know the history of Christianity, or what the RCC demands it's adherents believe.
Scripture does not substantiate the perpetuated Peterine papacy of Rome. The Bible is clear that Jesus is THE ROCK DT. 32:4, ICor. 10:4, which Peter also attests IPt. 2:8. Not one command is given in the NT for the church to submit to Peter as it's "supreme leader", or one example of it. Peter refers to himself as an "elder", "apostle" and a "servant" IPt. 5:1, 2Pt. 1:1 and he was married Mt. 8:14, ICor. 9:4. Also, he would not let a man bow down to him Acts 10:25-26.
IOW, even if there were some historical evidence that Peter founded and ran the church in Rome during the Apostolic Era there is no support for what it has devolved into.
It's good to know Scripture.
The question is not whether a believer will do good works. The question is are those good works a prerequisite to being saved or a product of something that has already occurred.
Selah!
I know there are a lot of people who are opposed to Sola Scriptura, but the answers are there. The whole issue of church structure is explained in Scrpiture.
I can agree with that.
It does create division, and recently others have claimed that they aren’t contributing due to those issues. Freepathons are taking a long time.
Stop making this or any thread ‘about’ another Freeper.
