Those Canadian fires have affected the air quality and visibility in Iowa and presumably other midwestern states. Today is nice. Yesterday we had an all time low for July, 55F. They put out a health advisory for the air not the temp.

Still lots of rain and lots of water, flooding, local people rescued, we don't need it. And more is supposed to come. It's very strange. But we've had strange in other ways before.

Up here in the UP of MI hazy for days on end. The smokey haze seems to just hang in there. On Wednesday woke up to 36 degrees in the morning. 42 degrees this morning. There have been an increase in asthma attacks up here too!
