So what about the Orthodox, Lutheran, and Anglican belief in the real presence? Do you also call them blasphemers?
I do not practice ‘the real presence’ to be eaten. I do however take bread and wine as a Remembrance of what Jesus did at Calvary for me. In repeating the REMEBRANCE I witness that I believe and upon Whom my salvation rests. To believe one ‘continues the victim sacrifice, eating the ‘real body, blood, soul, and divinity of The Christ is a blasphemous mockery of the Once For All Forever which Jesus FINISHED on the Cross. Anyone practicing such a blasphemy takes the communion ‘unworthily’ and thereby haaps upon themselves the condemnation due them.
I have witnessed miracles resulting from ‘where two or more are gathered in His name, there is HE in the midst of them.’ This is the real Presence, and not for pagan foolery like ‘eating’ the focus of your faith. The bread is the thing eaten, the Lord Jesus Christ seated at The Right Hand of The Father in Heaven is the focus of that worshipful REMEMBRANCE.
Getting the 'number' will give one pause for reflection...
Lutherans believe in con substantiation .. .the bread is the bread,it remains bread but Christ is present along side the bread..
Orthodox are semi-pelagian and hold to many of Romes teaching ... ..
Not all Anglicans hold to "real presence" it depends on the branch ... any church that re-sacrifies Christ is heretical and blasphemers
If they they come here, pushing blasphemy, I would certainly attack their blasphemous beliefs, but they don't. If the Muzzies came here and started pushing Islam, I would attack their blasphemous beliefs, but they don't. BTW, I am an ex catholic. Have a nice eternity. I plan to. 😇
