And how about fish guts on the eyes to get rid of cataracts? It would save a lot of people the expense of cataract surgery wouldn't it? Somehow, I think you won't get any takers on that. 😂

Some things never change. No confession "i was wrong", no repentance, just change the subject and attack attack (and wise-guy flamebait comments inserted liberally) attack Mirror Mirror.

Have you written this same comment to the non-Catholic posts that post inane cartoons, and comments that dont address issues? Now now now...let's not cry over spilled cereal.

I never do! It's what their "scripture" says to do! Along with burning fish hearts to scare away demons! Oh, and having a daughter is a disgrace.

well, the following is a pretty significant change to wording, especially in light of the heresy of Mariology it was done to support/promote:
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel." Young's literal Translation 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. King James Version
15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspringa and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel. NIV
15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel." World English Bible
Now let's take a look at the Douay-Rheims wording. See if you see any significant changes:
Genesis 3:15 I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.
Elsie, this isn't as big an amount of text change, but would you agree it is a whole lot more significant than that of the Joseph Smith changes to the KJV? Mariology is a heresy inveigling the lives of billions!

I am interested in seeing the context.
I gathered that.
Yet I presented to you something of a condition.
Just answering that you'd like to "see the context" when I already knew that --- is not what I was looking for.
I was hoping for a deal. If I'm going to do the work, I want something out of this.
I had the links -- but just cut them out.
Get back to me when or if you'd care to have a serious discussion.
A presently circulating RC anti-Protestant bash-tool may be seriously compromised in course of that discussion, but that's the breaks.
I'm sick of the game-playing and b.s.'ing which goes on around here...not that you are anything like the most culpable of that type of thing...

And some (not all) of these people wonder why I don't have any respect for them and their putrefying methodologies..?
A few staunch RCC defenders on FR have abandoned honest exchange and discussion with FReepers and will cry, complain, taunt, and bail at first opportunity when confronted with the truth in any form on these forum threads.
These RC posters seem to love their Catholic finery, rituals, art, properties, and certain pagan practices more than honest discussion of their church's differences with other non-Catholic Christians.
Some RC FR posters are willfully ensnared by their strong carnal competitiveness and disrespect of what is true, unless the truth can be mangled to fit into the RCC on-going narratives, whatever they may be.
To: verga
yeah, you should look into it.

That would be a good one for certain Pharisees to take to heart. Why?
Because of it's literalness?

I’m trying to recollect if certain FReepers have EVER given me a FRiendly straight-forward truthful response to any questions they didn’t want to answer because their belief system would be shown as fiction and untrue if the questions were answered honestly.
