Well, He opened MY eyes, and a few others around here too. Maranatha.

Somebody did, I doubt that it was God....He never goes back on His word. :-)

You are right. He never goes back on His word. This must be the only thing we have ever agreed upon. It must be a historic occasion. Praise God for those Navigators. They got my curiosity up, so I started reading the DR Bible that I had never cracked open. After reading that DR Bible, the scales fell from my eyes. I was not blind anymore. It was a beautiful thing.

People can play their silly little word games. I will have none of it. I have people to preach to. All I want to know is, when the stuff hits the fan, when the rubber meets the road, when we get down to the gut issues of life. I just want to know where people plan to spend eternity.

There are millions of people out there, that will be in for a shockingly rude awakening, as they expect to go to Heaven, but are bound hand and foot, and cast into outer darkness, where there will be weeping snd gnashing of teeth. Not you, me, or anyone should be in THAT group, and if they find themselves on the outside looking in, that's on them. No one need go there, and Gamecock is watching me like a hawk, to make sure I don't slip back into my old ways. Thanks GC.

I just want to know where people plan to spend eternity.

Sadly; I think that most have no 'plan'; just some vague hopes...

AND ... when it's all said and done .... God is not waiting for us to pass an exam before we enter Heaven

I believe God is the SOLA

and His SCRIPTURA is what He says

Yep ... Sola Scriptura

Agree 100%.

It takes Christ to open our eyes and faith in His gracious gift alone to give us eternal life. The rest matters little.

Religious works, rituals, medals, symbols, priests, costumes, candles, incense, holy water, and all the rest counts for nothing in having eternal life.

Thanks for your clear statement and testimony.

Praise God for those Navigators.

Over the many centuries since Christ instituted the catholic church, there have been literally thousands of brilliant people who have studied every letter of every word in the Bible....they have interpreted and re-interpreted them and mostly coming together on their meaning and purpose....Catholicism prevailed for 1,600 years and Protestant denominations sprang up which largely agreed with Catholic doctrine with some exceptions.

Then, you say, the navigators came along to set all the Catholics and protestants straight........just how did everyone else get it wrong, and along came Dawson Trotman, a California lumberyard worker, who changed the world....he knew the truth and those 1,930 or so years of Catholic teaching were so much fiction......O.K., I guess, but I'll take my chances with the Catholics.
