I do not put the apostles on pedestals.
all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God - you guys are the ones that put saints, apostles, popes, church fathers, and anyone else you can think of on a pedestal

And Mary is not the maternal counterpart of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has no human counterpart. God is God and creatures are creatures. God can and does use humans to accomplish His will, but we are instruments, not counterparts or in any other way equal to God.

Matthew 1, Jesus is described as a Child of the Holy Spirit. Mary is the Mother, the Holy Spirit is the Father. Unless there is some weird part of the Bible where children are conceived with only one parent, children must have a mother and a father. The only possible exception to this I know of is Jesus' birth from the father before all ages.
