And Mary is not the maternal counterpart of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 1, Jesus is described as a Child of the Holy Spirit. Mary is the Mother, the Holy Spirit is the Father. Unless there is some weird part of the Bible where children are conceived with only one parent, children must have a mother and a father. The only possible exception to this I know of is Jesus' birth from the father before all ages.

Mary is the mother only of Jesus human body. She is not the mother of His divine side. There is a big difference.
