I have family and acquaintances who buy into the gay pride meme, not because they are inclined, attuned to, or practice willful deviance, but because they want to identify with people who are often subject to mistreatment and disrespect. Their hearts are compassionate for the oppressed, and that is a quality to be admired, but they do not seem to have a clue how this recent court ruling damages the fabric of a Constitutional Republic. Decisions of this import ought never defer to a small body of ideologues.

“often subject to mistreatment and disrespect. Their hearts are compassionate for the oppressed”

They are not “oppressed.” Normal people react with disgust to the loathsome perversions their disorder compels them to practice.

One might say that their disorder is not their fault; on the other hand, one must say that they should be seeking treatment, not trying to force everyone else to pretend that evil is good.

Perhaps we should make every effort to regard them with charity; we are not required to “respect” sodomy.
