Since I am not Hindi and do neither yogic meditation nor practice yogic mental or spiritual exercises the danger to my eternal soul by performing a stretching exercise with a sanskrit name is a bit conflated. You on the other hand seem fairly susceptible to negative spiritual influences. Avoid exercises with sanskrit names at all costs....
You mean negative influences like using logic to point out the flaws in other people's arguments?
I guess somebody awakened their inner Kundalini, i.e. a goddess that is in the base of the spine which is then attempted to awaken through, that’s right you guessed it, yoga. Now you can sit there and debate if this is the original tradition or not, since there are different styles of yoga, but at the heart is you getting energy and relaxation by doing something to yourself through a series of moves and poses rooted in the supernatural like it or not. And since it is not for us to play with the supernatural other than prayer and the commands of Jesus, you are opening yourself to demonic harassment and worse possession. Basically you are using the body to channel spirits, and since there really are only one kind of spirit that can be channeled via this route, it isn’t hard to figure out why yoga is not good for you. If you doubt it, then ask yourself why is so much Paganism/Godlessness taking off at the same time that things such as yoga have become so popular. If you believe in the supernatural, then you also have to believe there is an inverse relationship between the holy and its respective acts during those holy times with the evil and its respective acts during those evil times that we are now experiencing.
