This reminds me of an account of a Christian martyr, in Roman Carthage around 200 AD. The young Christian Woman told the Roman soldier that she forgave him and that she would come to him to show there was life after death. She did so and he converted to Christianity, and was himself martyred. Unfortunately I don’t know the name, but remember being told it during a study of very early Christianity.
Hopefully someone out there also knows of this and can fill in the blanks I’ve left.
Similar to Paul’s journey a couple of millennia ago.
I started hearing of Muslims coming to Christ after Jesus appearing to them in dreams and visions about 13 years ago. I did some research back then and found thousands of cases and it is believed by some involved it is hundreds of thousands possibly millions. I know of lots of Muslims who are hiding their Christian faith from their families, they have to. In some cases whole families hiding it from other family members and finding out later they have all converted.
There is a video of dramatic reenactments of 5 or 6 of these conversations called “ More Than Dreams”. Can be viewed online. They sent me a bunch of free DVDs years ago, not sure if they still send free DVDs though.
After converting he is in grave danger of his life from the subhumans who are still in the religion of death and destruction.
I think this is the account you mentioned:

SrB asked us to pray for our enemies some months back. Even had bracelets made up for us that say “Bless our enemies. Matthew 5:43-48”. I did so at mass the next day asking God to Bless ISIS the way he did St. Paul and that they will preach the Gospel of Jesus throughout the Middle East. Perhaps this is the beginning? I’ll keep praying.
Ping!
Fascinating website.
Noted. Imma bounce this off of a Christian friend who is not a FReeper.
