"Fear God"

I totally agree, but most people do not fear God. What did Christ say? Luke 12:4-5 "I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.

For the sake of argument, let's assume Christ was God's son. If so, Christ compels us to repent and sin no more. Should we continue to sin and not repent, Christ was quite clear. We will be tossed into hell.

Now, it's possible that Christ was a loon, but any professing Christian--by their own admission--is a follower of Christ. If one is a follower of Christ, one must do what Christ taught, right?

Now, how do we know what Christ taught? The Bible is the best we have. So are the writing of early church fathers, ones who maybe didn't witness Christ themselves but were close enough to the apostles to hear the unadulterated truth. Any modern teaching that contradicts or departs from the Bible is simply not Christianity. Denominations that claim homosexuality is OK are simply not Christian! No reasonable person can possibly point to scripture and claim otherwise.

Lest a Jew say they don't believe in Christ so homosexuality is OK, the Old Testament is quite clear on that issue, too. I wouldn't put too much hope in being genetically Jewish either. Will a Jew's DNA save him from hell fire if he doesn't follow God's commandments?

Of course, some people don't believe Christ was God's son at all. Some don't even believe in God. Who am I to tell them what to believe? That's their right. We should live in a free country (even though we no longer do). However, unbelievers should carefully consider what they do, because if Christ was true, there's a spiritual war being waged and there are very serious repercussions for picking the wrong side.

Like I wrote, anyone who disagrees is free to think whatever they want, but I think I've written accurately in regard to what the Bible says about homosexuality.
