Its my hope you come to know the real Christ.

Thank you, that's mighty kind of you.

However, I know the Christ as taught by the Nicean churches. I was raised in and at the age to 15 baptized into a Southern Baptist Church. I was every bit an Evangelical. I went to church twice on Sunday and once Wednesday night.

I was raised to distrust Mormons too, just like any good Southern Baptist. Hey, it is what it is.

As a matter of fact, I was on my way to stop a friend of mine from joining The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I had my Saul moment.

The Holy Spirit softened my heart and I had a very distinct and powerful personal revelation. I heard a very calm soft voice telling me that the restored Gospel was true.

It was so powerful in fact, I met the missionaries on Wednesday and was baptized that very Sunday.

So I know first hand what you have and I know what I have now. There is no comparison.

Yes, I know and have a very deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Do you know why works are so important? And not just any work either. The Church is the vehicle that God uses to prepare us to meet Him. The works that the Church provides, if done with the right intent in our hearts, builds faith.

The more obedient we are to the works of God the more faith we build. Until through constant repentance and obedience to the Savior, that we have perfect faith in Him.

This is why through time it has been recorded that people are able to talk to the Lord face to face. Abraham and Job for examples.

That's the problem with these Nicean churches. They don't build faith. They don't know how. Preaching at someone doesn't build their faith. They leave people in a stagnate state believing they have salvation right this minute. But in fact are simply not prepared to stand in front Jesus Christ. And with very little actual knowledge of God at all.

It's my hope that you come to know the real Jesus Christ too. :)

As I've shown from your use of the scriptures that voice you heard couldn't have been the Holy Spirit.

And now you're taught to distrust Southern Baptists!

You've come a long way; baby!

HMMMmmm...

Mr. Millet:

I don't think we can ever transcend Joseph Smith or consider him to be a valued personality, but now we'll move on.
I don't think you'll see that among believers in the faith, because there are too many other things that came from him
that are the reasons why we do what we do and we are what we are. That there are unanswered questions, to be sure.
That there are things that I'm as anxious as the next guy to learn more detail on, I really want to know. But in the interim,
it really doesn't, doesn't trouble me.
We're in the religion-making business, as you intimated earlier, only for a short time, I mean, compared to the
Christian church, which has been at this for a couple of millennia. We're about halfway to Nicaea.
And so, and so in that sense — I remember a very tender moment. I was speaking with — I've been invited
to the Salt Lake Theological Seminary, basically an Evangelical seminary, to discuss a book I had done on Jesus.
And they had read it, and they wanted me to come and just respond to questions.
And it was, it was a very enjoyable couple of hours.

The very last question that was asked by one of my friends there was this one.

He said, 'Bob, what can we do for you?'

And I, I wasn't ready for that question. I said, 'What do you mean?'

He said, 'What can we, as Evangelicals, do for our Mormon friends?'

And I, I guess my mind could have gone a hundred different ways, but what I came back with was this.

I said, 'Boy, I appreciate you asking that. I don't think I've ever been asked that.'

But, but I said, 'Try this. Cut us a little slack, will you? Give us a little time.
We're in the religion-making business, and this takes time. It takes centuries.

And, and trying to explain the faith and articulate the faith, that doesn't come over night.
We've really only been about that for 20 or 30 years.'

Are you worthy enough to enter a Mormon Temole?

Do you have a Temple Recommend®?

Could you explain what the 'restored' gospel actually IS?
