No one is sweeter than you, Salvation, but that doesn’t mean Baptists are going to accept Thomas Merton or any other catholic teaching. It is not meant to be a personal attack on you. I’ve looked at some of your catholic postings and to be honest, I find the Mary worship very shocking, among other things. There are some areas we will simply never agree upon.

TGoFRP says Catholics are not the audience (evangelicals are), so maybe you don't want to read it. Who knows what beliefs are Merton's and which are not? In contemplative spirituality, you're not supposed to be able to tell, are you?
I just know you're not going to like more of David Cloud's articles.
