I was speaking of a small tweak found in Matthew 23:3.

The standard KJV text reads

All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

That is contradictory within itself.

The original Matthew read

“All therefore whatsoever He bids you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after the works of the Pharisees: for they say, and do not.”

In other words, all Yeshua was saying was follow Moses, not the Pharisees, which is then in agreement with the rest of the chapter, which roundly condemned everything the Pharisees said and did in the woes he spoke.
