These verses do not support the catholic concept of confirmation.
News to me and every other Catholic in the world. I'm a lifelong Catholic and certified Catholic catechist so I understand what my religious teaches about Confirmation.
What happened in the New Testament certainly reminds me of my confirmation (I had already been baptized in the name of Jesus, then later on, someone laid hands on me so I could receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and have the wisdom to spread Christ's word)
So were exactly do you find it differs from the Catholic concept of confirmation? An explanation instead of just a "I disagree" would be helpful.
