Jesus main teaching was not to feed the poor. In fact, he fed them fishes and loaves when they had come to hear him speak, he did not seek out the poor to feed them.

He said you will always have the poor among you.

His message was about the Kingdom of God.

The word is being slowly put out, even by the Leftists themselves: the push is on to silence any conservative, Christian, or patriot, and they have the resources of a nation-state at their disposal.

This Pope isn’t doing anything more to fight poverty than the Popes before him. He just talks a lot more.

"Spinning the Pope" sounds like something you would do while playing a board game.

Anyone who chides people for not helping the poor and simultaneously torpedoes the nation’s economy is a liar and a hypocrite of major proportions.

Lord forgive me for my exceptional contempt for our villainous President.

The author seems to be doing his own spinning as well.

Obama surely also appreciates the Pope’s help on Global Warming and recognizing Palestine.

Hm, did Fearless Leader again ask Georgetown to cover up the crosses on the walls so they wouldn’t show in the background of his speech, like he did the first time he spoke there?

He does not have to spin the Pope, they are kindred spirits.

Its hard to find truly poor people in America. The “poor” in America are well fed. By world standards they are quite well off.

many times i find, once i get to know them a little better, the “poor” are as ibama said, “sponges, leeches, don’t want to work, are lazy, are seemingly undeserving”
They have large screen tvs with cable service. They have working cars. They could work full time but do not apply themselves. Some are getting disability while doing physical labor and getting paid cash under the table.
