I can see the logic in the rule from what I quoted in in post #152, but here's an example of that "tension" mentioned at the end of the post. In other words, I can see why the moderator "will not decree what is or is not truth," but I can also see some interesting problems that may thereby be introduced.
I just reloaded the thread and found your post #161: "there is no clearer example of 'mind-reading' I can think of than telling someone else whether they are worshiping or not." Even before I reloaded the thread, I was thinking of this sort of thing as one of those "interesting problems."
Although what follows may have little to do with the topic, I thought that may all appreciate a nice Bible break:
